A one-of-a-kind Marseille Blue original, this portable, rechargeable lamp was handmade in Japan from an antique tokkuri, a ceramic sake bottle once used to serve sake or soy sauce.

Each bottle is uniquely marked with hand-painted calligraphy, making every lamp truly one of a kind. The crackled paper shade was carefully sourced and assembled to complement the piece’s quiet charm.

These sturdy, hand-thrown bottles were common in homes and inns throughout the Edo and Meiji periods.

Perfect for a nightstand, entry table, or shelf, it casts a warm, soft glow that’s just enough for quiet evenings or early mornings.
