A sculptural French stoneware vase with a flattened, rounded form and a narrow central opening. Made in the mid-20th century, likely from the Vallauris or La Borne region, where studio pottery flourished after the 1950s. 

This piece reflects the influence of Japanese pottery on postwar French ceramics, when makers began embracing organic forms and natural glazes that honored imperfection and restraint. 

Condition: Very good vintage condition with light wear along the base. The glaze is intact and richly toned.
