A pair of hand-turned English candlesticks made from solid oak, dating to around 1900. Each features a classic barley twist stem and a brass insert at the top, softly patinated with age. The bases are gently rounded and weighted, giving the pair a sense of quiet sturdiness and balance.

Originally crafted during the Edwardian period, barley twist candlesticks like these were prized for their craftsmanship and sculptural form. Each twist was hand-carved on a lathe, creating a rhythm and movement that remains timeless more than a century later.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with light wear and patina consistent with age. Brass inserts are secure.
