Taishō-Era Drawer Chest
$375.00

This beautiful compact drawer chest is a vintage haribako — a Japanese sewing box traditionally used to store thread, needles, and personal items. This piece dates back to the Taishō period (1912–1926) and is made from richly grained tamo wood, known for its expressive, almost rippling patterns.

In immaculate condition, the drawers glide smoothly and are framed by simple iron pulls. A functional and decorative piece that’s perfect for storing stationery, tools, or keepsakes.

Condition: Excellent.

Dimensions: 11.5”L x 9.5”H x 7”D
