A sculptural bronze vase with a silhouette that feels both grounded and weightless. The surface carries a deep green patina developed over time.

The form draws from traditional Japanese vessel shapes, with a narrow neck and wide base that give it a strong sculptural presence. 

The underside bears a formal inscription reading “Takaoka City Traditional Industries Youth Association,” dated June 30, 1966. Takaoka, located in Toyama Prefecture, is one of Japan’s most significant historic centers for bronze casting and metalwork.

Works beautifully as a standalone sculptural object or for flower arrangements.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition consistent with age. Natural oxidation and patina throughout.
