A cast iron teapot made by Seieidō, a respected foundry in Iwate Prefecture, Japan —home to the renowned Nanbu Tekki ironwork tradition.
It has a simple, rounded form with a fixed upright handle and textured surface. The underside is stamped 南部 盛栄堂 (Nanbu Seieidō). The surface shows a warm brown patina with signs of age and light wear.
