Japanese Slipware Spouted Vessel
$65.00

This hand-formed ceramic vessel features expressive black brushwork over a warm beige glaze — a traditional Japanese slipware style. Likely from the mid 20th century, it was made using folk pottery techniques seen in regions like Mashiko or Tamba. The spouted form and wide mouth suggest it may have been used to pour sake or sauces.

Each side shows variation in the glazing and brushstrokes, giving it a soft, organic feel. It also works beautifully as a small vase or sculptural accent in the home.

Condition: Good vintage condition. Small glaze chip near the spout.

Dimensions: 4” Diameter x 3.5” H
