Its surface features expressive folk figures among flowing vines, alongside poetic calligraphy reading 秋春 ("Autumn and Spring") and 遊天 ("Playing in the heavens")—themes of seasonal beauty and joyful freedom common in Edo-era art.

The textured clay body and hand-painted enamel show visible signs of age and craftsmanship. It comes in a wooden storage box, likely original, that has protected it over generations.
